Vasiliy Zorkiy

Musician, director, screenwriter. Founder of the musical bands "Zorky" and "19:84". As a journalist, he contributed to publications such as "Bolshoy Gorod", "Afisha", "Esquire", The Village, and others. He directed the play "Strana Moskva" at the Meyerhold Theatre and "I'm 30" at the Gogol Center. From 2016 to 2018, he was the creative director of the Afisha Picnic festival and the author of the project "Fairy Tales at Home", where more than 300 actors from 19 countries read fairy tales to children and adults. In 2022, after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he left Russia and now resides in Paris. He continues to perform concerts, direct plays, including the charitable project "Tarakanishche" with Chulpan Khamatova and Liza Monetochka.
