Biography

Jane Norman is the ABC's national affairs correspondent, based at Parliament House in Canberra. Originally from Perth, Jane has worked as a federal political reporter for more than a decade and was most recently a national regional affairs reporter in the ABC's Climate and Regional Team.

Jane has hosted the ABC's coverage of major events, including the WA state election, and has completed assignments for the ABC in Washington DC, Jakarta, Hanoi, Christmas Island, the Solomon Islands, and Antarctica. Her first job with the ABC was in Albany, on the south coast of WA.
