Biography

Best known as an entrepreneur in various entertainment circles since the mid-2000s, Xander Nicolai is currently the host of the live weekend radio talk show "West Coast Wire Radio" on 89.3FM KBZC (starting April 2024).

He has produced several television shows and serves as an executive producer on projects like the horror show "Drive-In Movie Maniacs," currently airing nationally on RetroTV, Action Channel, and The Family Channel since October 5th, 2018, now in its fifth season. Additionally, the show has its own streaming channel on Roku under DimmTV, where Nicolai serves as the network producer.

Nicolai is also involved in several upcoming TV shows in development and was recently part of the multi-award-winning short film "Let's Start Over 2023," recognized nationally and internationally across various film festivals.

In the fashion industry, Nicolai boasts over 10 years of experience as a fashion photographer and operates an annually printed fashion awards magazine company, American Fashion Magazine Inc, which debuted in 2019 and is set for a relaunch in 2025.

His upcoming project in 2024 is a TV docu-series titled "West Coast Grow Masters," slated for release in the third quarter of 2025 on AppleTV.

Beyond his entertainment ventures, Nicolai owns a Kansas City-style BBQ restaurant in Santa Cruz, CA, which opened in July 2022 and was hailed as "the best BBQ in the tri-county" by Edible Monterey Magazine. The restaurant has become a local favorite in the South San Francisco Bay area.
