Tommy DeSimone was born on May 24, 1950 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. He was married to Angela. He died on January 14, 1979 in New York City, New York, USA.

Despite being married, he had maintained numerous of mistresses throughout his life.

Tommy DeSimone was reportedly one of the robbers who took part in the Lufthansa heist (December 11, 1978). He disappeared (and was presumed dead) about a month later. His death has been blamed on the gangster Jimmy Burke (nicknamed Jimmy the Gent), who is thought to have orchestrated the deaths of most of the people involved in that heist.
