- Born in the Bronx, NYC. Both sides of his family hail from Naagyvarad ("NAJ-var-road"), Romania, a region better known as Transylvania.
- Actor Bill Nighy plays a character named Howard Nash in the film, "Antonia and Jane". His fictional son is named Daniel, the same name as the real Nash's youngest son.
- Produced one of the first reality TV specials, "The Deep North" for CBS Television. Directed by William Greaves, 24 participants expressed feelings about race under the guidance of two prominent therapists. The show was part of a CBS Television series called "A World of Difference", and was subsequently nominated for a NY-area Emmy Award.
