Lisa Simon was born on April 4, 1951 in New York City, New York, USA. She was a producer and director, known for Sesame Street (1969), Blue Jasmine (2013) and Two Lovers (2008). She died on April 4, 2015 in New York City, New York, USA.

Her long association with Sesame Street began in its earliest days when, while attending Hunter College, she served as a caretaker for children who appeared on the show. She worked her way up from production assistant in season 1 to producer by season 12 and continuing through season 24. She started directing in season 13.
