  • Sarah was the first TV director and female director to be awarded a Bafta Breakthrough Brit (2014) and again chosen for Bafta Elevate (2017). A writer director dedicated to championing stories with female leads, she is currently developing the feature film Te Amo and the TV series Young Blood. Sarah's range of genre is unique. From the action adventure of Warrior Nun (Netflix), supernatural love story A Discovery Of Witches (Sky AMC), producing and directing YA drama Get Even (Netflix) to the biopic I Am Elizabeth Smart which was nominated for Best TV Movie and Best Actress - Critic's Choice Awards 2018. Early work includes acclaimed British TV miniseries The Crash (BBC) which was nominated for Best TV Drama - Bafta 2013 and Dates (Channel 4). She began her career as an indie short filmmaker and swiftly moved onto showrunning teen drama The Cut (BBC) after being nominated three years in a row by Broadcast Magazine in the Best Young Writer and Best Young Director categories for her debut short films, 420 Seconds Of Love, Almost Strangers, and Soul Boy.
