Brian Brightly

Brian Brightly began his career in development as a Story Analyst, and as consultant, has been instrumental in the project development of movies at Disney, Universal Pictures and Amblin, from Fast & Furious and Bourne Identity, to more recently, Bugonia and Hamnet. He wrote INSIDE MAN: MOST WANTED and TREMORS: SHRIEKER ISLAND, for Universal 1440. He Associate Produced IRONCLAD, and wrote films for global star Wu Jing (WOLF WARRIOR, EARTH WANDERING). He delivered FOX HUNT for Fox International, a Hong Kong-based action film, and SHANGHAI STAR for Ivanhoe Pictures. He directed LIARS ALL about college antics gone awry, and has now directed THE WAKE, a tragi-comic story of a few, wayward men who must come to terms with their lives following the death of a best friend.
