Biography

Jacques Kallis was born on October 16, 1975 in Pinelands, Cape Town, South Africa. He has been married to Charlene Engels since January 2019. They have one child.

Kallis is a former South African cricketer, and, a former Test and ODI captain.

As of 2018 he was the only cricketer in the history of the game to score more than 10,000 runs and take over 250 wickets in both ODI and Test match cricket.

Kallis was named Leading Cricketer in the World in the 2008 Wisden for his performances in 2007 in addition to being the "ICC Test Player of the Year" and ICC Player of the Year in 2005.

Kallis is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time and one of the game's greatest all-rounders.

He is the current coach of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.
