Somer Sivrioglu is a highly influential and celebrated Turkish-Australian chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality, primarily known for his pioneering role in bringing authentic and contemporary Turkish cuisine to Australia, and more recently, for his prominent role as a judge on MasterChef Türkiye. Somer lived in Istanbul for 25 years. His mother was also a chef and restaurateur, so he grew up immersed in the world of kitchens and Turkish food culture.
