Lion Dodsworth is an American, actor, athlete, martial artist and model.
Starring in Superpowers Aren't A Thing, as well as Casen Pointe: True Crime Detective. Having wrapped filming playing a seasoned internal affairs detective in Paradox and also starring in the acclaimed short The Right Before as vigilant paramedic.
Lion undertook training at Herbert Berghoff Studio in the West Village of New York where he studied classical and contemporary acting, voice, movement, improvisation, Alexander + Hagen technique and more. He also attended Lewis Smith's Actors Academy in Los Angeles where he studied acting within the frame, comedy, multi-cam, prop training, and Meisner.
As a martial artist, with over a decade of experience, he's trained boxing at Trinity Boxing Club in New York City, Jeet Kune Do (created by Bruce Lee) in Brooklyn and is now working with the esteemed Orion Lee, on countless other martial arts systems including Kung Fu and sword training.
Lion has qualifications in multiple sports including basketball, football, track & field, and boxing.
As a successful model he has been honored to grace the cover of Obvious Magazine as well as represent multiple brands in runway shows and print ads.
