- Scott came to writing late in life. After a long career as a technology analyst, he became interested in the impact of technology on Society, and vice versa. He started to write short films, and never looked back. Finding early success in that arena, he then moved into web series.
Heavily influenced by writers such as Rod Serling, Philip K. Dick, Harlan Ellison, and Ray Bradbury, his work tends to have a bit of an edge, and he works to draw the audience in, then surprise them just a bit.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Chicago. While they didn't teach him to write screenplays, they did teach him to think.
