Mark Cheatwood is an American producer and media entrepreneur creating and producing content across a wide range of distribution platforms worldwide. He collaborates closely with studio and independent producers, directors, and screenwriters from Los Angeles and Oklahoma to New York City and Europe developing character-driven films, television series, and media content.

Before transitioning into filmmaking, Mark was a successful inventor, entrepreneur, and manufacturer. He has been awarded multiple patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, and built several businesses that were ultimately acquired by major conglomerates.

Father, Harry T. Cheatwood, was a 1st team Football All-American Safety at OKST (1967) followed by a successful entrepreneurial career. Mother, Sharon Cheatwood, was a school teacher for many years.
A registered member of the Cherokee Nation and direct descendant of 'Emperor' Chief Moytoy along with (Ghigau) Beloved Woman, Nancy Ward, the influential Cherokee leader.
A former standout athlete, Mark was the point guard for Team Oklahoma's (RAMS) all-star basketball team in two Junior Olympics. He later became a starting wide receiver for the Oklahoma State University football team. After his junior year, he signed a free-agent baseball contract with the Texas Rangers organization but returned to OSU for his senior football season. Unfortunately, a career-ending arm injury sidelined him just before the season concluded. The following year, he served as the personal offensive assistant to then-new OSU offensive coordinator Les Miles (later head coach at OSU, LSU, and KU). Despite early coaching success, Mark stepped away from collegiate athletics the following year to focus on his rapidly growing business ventures.
