He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1995 with a degree in Theater and Film Arts.
His family originally come from Castile in Spain, before coming to the Americas. His ancestors first came to Florida and Puerto Rico as the first Spanish Governor in 1500.
