Alexandrea Mallia is a bi-lingual (Japanese and English) actress based in Brooklyn, NY. Born to a mother from a corn farm in Iowa and a father from lower Manhattan, Alexandrea is an excellent combination of hard working and an eccentric go-getter. From the age of eight she decided to move to Japan to become an illustrator, and after a decade of self-taught and legit lessons in Japanese, she moved to Japan at 19 to attend art university. Despite the years of dedication, she was met with an unexplained unhappiness until realizing she truly desired to pursue a career in acting and film. Quitting everything, she moved to NYC to pursue this gut feeling and has been all the happier for doing so.
Alexandrea is a trained Meisner actress studying at both the New York Film Academy with Anna Maria Cianciulli, Michael Laibson, Rob Roy, Victor Verhaeghe, and Craig Fox, and at The Artist Gym, with acting coach Jacob Mirer. She was a part of the bi-coastal theatre company, Theatre68, with Ronnie Marmo for a time, and has been working with bi-coastal acting coach/producer/writer, Joanne Mosconi.
