Winner of the Brandenburg Junior Championships in rhythmic gymnastics (1993).

Attended acting lessons at the drama school Etage in Berlin from 2002 to 2004, but quit before receiving her diploma.

Although she has played Anna Reichenbach, an intriguing beast, in Schloss Einstein (1998), she became the show's most popular star.

[After filming "Die Hebamme", I] definitely don't [want to become a mother]! It made me lose interest in having a child that much. Especially these examination scenes with the students, butter, finger in and out, forceps. I regularly had phantom abdominal pain. For you men, it of course means watching only and you think, it probably isn't really pleasant. But we women have to go to examinations. And if things like these aren't of a sexual nature, it isn't always nice.

Yes, [I smoke]. I didn't have bad role models, I also started fairly late and I don't know why. Things like group dynamics won't wash with me either. I imagine I still smoke due to enjoyment. But if I am on a holiday somewhere for two weeks I don't smoke at all.
