Biography

Vina Asiki is a Greek actress known for her dynamic presence in film, television, and theater. Beginning her journey at the National Theatre of Greece, she appeared on stage alongside celebrated artists such as Ellie Lambeti, Dimitris Horn, and Anna Synodinou. A graduate of Giorgos Theodosiadis' Drama School, she also trained extensively in dance, a skill that shaped her expressive stage and screen performances. Rising to prominence in the 1980s, she starred in numerous comedies with acclaimed actors including Thanasis Vengos, Rena Vlahopoulou, Kostas Voutsas, Sotiris Moustakas, Stathis Psaltis, and Dinos Iliopoulos. With 27 films and 30 video productions to her credit, Asiki became one of the most recognizable figures of her era while maintaining artistic integrity and elegance. She later turned to children's theater, co-founding the company Amyna with her husband, dancer and choreographer Orestis Dimitriou, based in Ano Liosia under the auspices of the Municipality of Fyli.
