Biography

Christian Morales is an American Actor, Writer, Film Director, & SAG SIGNATORY Producer of Dominican descent a native of Washington Heights, New York City. He is a NYC based classically trained Actor in the Stanislavsky System "Method Acting" approach lead by Miranda McDermott at New Media Repertory Co. Christian was further trained by Jordan Lage at the Atlantic Acting School & classically trained in The Meisner Technique under the guidance of Ron Stetson & Robert X. Modica of The Neighborhood Playhouse home of The Meisner Technique.

As part of Christian's long journey in the acting world he gained early notoriety as he was considered among the top candidates for A NEW NEIGHBOR ON SESAME STREET to land the role of THE NEW NEIGHBOR as he was quoted by Matt McCue of The WALL STREET JOURNAL, ""To show the judges his versatility, Christian Morales brought a guitar and belted out Broadway hits and Spanish ballads. He has a closer connection than most to the program. "Sesame Street' is how I learned English," said the Washington Heights native, who has appeared in a soap opera on Telemundo and a commercial for the city's Department of Health." At the same time Christian appeared in the 1st. Season Episode 1 of the smash hit telenovela MAS SABE EL DIABLO making his first International Television debut in a Principal Role on TELEMUNDO 47/ NBC UNIVERSAL.

Today Christian has gain critical acclaim as a first time Film Director garnering his 5th Film Festival Official Selection for his short film title PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA a short film adaptation of his one man show NEX1: KID MARAVILLA which opened to rave reviews at THE ONE FESTIVAL at PRTT/PREGONES OFF-BROADWAY & OFF OFF BROADWAY at THE MANHATTAN REPERTORY THEATRE in Manhattan.

To date Christian has appeared in a Principal role as an Anti-Crime Detective in the big budget NYPD Police Drama EQUAL STANDARD in Cinemas across U.S. Cinemas on May 7, 2021; produced by Ice-T & Rob Simmons. Christian much later in 2021 was selected and handpicked by Good Egg (2021); Director Nicole Gomez Fisher to appear in a Featured role as a local New Jersey Police Officer in the film performing opposite Actor Yara Martinez & Joel Johnstone.

Christian currently is currently developing his Feature Film Screenplay based on both his one man show stage play NEX1: KID MARAVILLA & Short Film PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA. A story that is based out of WASHINGTON HEIGHTS.
