Shelly Sharma(IV)

Shelly is an enthusiastic young cinematographer based out of Mumbai, India. It's during her graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University in Delhi that she discovered her love for photography and image making. After finishing her graduation , Shelly moved to Mumbai and started working as an Assistant Director in films though her strong inclination towards cinematography pushed her to pursue it full time and eventually with the advice and help of seniors and colleagues she made the switch to cinematography very early on her career.

Shelly started out as an independent cinematographer working on indie projects, in her aspiration to learn better and bigger Shelly started assisting well renowned and established cinematographers of the industry in varied capacity on long as well as short formats gradually moving to 2nd unit cinematography roles on feature films for streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Shelly now works as a full time independent cinematographer having shot varied formats across genres. Shelly recently shot her first feature film called Gharat Ganpati which got it's successful theatrical release and was widely appreciated for it's cinematography, the film is now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Shelly has also worked on a number of documentaries for channels like VICE Asia, National Geographic as well as Discovery and continues to do so making it a more profound and fun experience to navigate the space of filmmaking and cinematography.
