He was a composer and producer, known for The City of Lost Children (1995), Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989) and Our Land of Peace (1939). He was married to Geneviève Poussard and Augusta Rolland. He died on 27 November 1985 in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France.
