Biography

Bianka Alexandria Bell is an actor, filmmaker and musician. She was born in Stamford, Connecticut, USA. Starting in the entertainment industry at the tender age of three as a model, Bianka spent much of her time in New York City growing up, and attributes her liberalism to her early exposure of the city's artistic culture.

Because of her rigorous athletic schedule as an adolescent, Bianka's engagement with acting became inconsistent for some time, but that changed when, in her senior year of high school, she auditioned for the spring musical and was awarded a main role. The show was a hit, and after receiving several accolades by peers and fans for her performance, Bianka decided that she would continue on acting in college.

Though she majored in Political Studies (at Bard College), she took several theater classes at the institution and became involved with an array of film, web and television projects throughout her undergraduate and post-graduate years as both an actor and filmmaker.

With her strong interest and background in sociology and politics, Bianka works strive to provide visibility to a wide range of people and cover crucial social taboos that are typically absent from mainstream discourse. Mental health, body image, sexual orientation, gender identity and race are just some of the serious subject matters that Bianka explores through her characters' personal evolutions.
