They were all part of their daily life through age-old traditions and festivals and had a strong influence for their different artistic expressions.
His belief is that films are not just entertaining people, rather it impacts and influences their life as a character. This is where he looks after and has a passion for films and wants to tell the stories as much as possible visually and vocally from human emotional perspective where people could connect with his films through its emotions regardless of where it plays around. He also believes that everyone's mental world is different even in the same geographical location, and people see things differently and can have different mental perception about their physical surroundings which is based on their inheritance, belief and their personal experience how they perceive the world around them.
Even though his passion for films is everlasting, however, due to the belief in Indian society that studying high-demand subjects can yield quick job opportunities after the graduation, he studied Chemistry and then, Master of Computer Applications in St.Joseph's College, Trichy India. As said after his graduation, he got a job as a software engineer in a Swiss based IT company where he had an opportunity to travel around the world, almost 15 years of his lifetime and all of this time that he spent outside India has offered him different unique experience in terms of learning different environment, people and their culture to an extent. Even though he pursued his career into IT industry for an immediate job opportunity, in fact it was a success too in his life however, his profound dream of becoming a filmmaker and his passion for films has pushed him into the film industry in the recent years. His biggest inspiration for trying things out in filmmaking at the Middle ages is, the most renowned directors, Ridley Scott and Ava DuVernay who started the film career in their late 30s.
Prior to starting his career in filmmaking, he attended two weeks screenwriting workshop in London Film Academy and then, six weeks filmmaking workshop in National Film Television School in UK where he learnt the foundations of screenwriting and then, filmmaking. His first short film "Darkside (2017)" was a horror starring with Yaashika Aanand, an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil film industry and then, another short "Renuka (2018)" was a family drama and lastly, "Meera (2020)" was an another drama, and all of them were written, directed and produced by himself independently as self-funded projects under his own production banner of Allen Films in order to pursue his career in filmmaking. They were all sent to various film festivals in India and screened in the festivals. Especially, the short film "Renuka" has been acclaimed and awarded for its great visual impact under Indian short films category in Calcutta International Cult Film Festival along with its nomination for a golden globe award in the same film festival.
Besides his career as a writer-director, in order to learn the screenwriting fundamentals and its techniques in depth, he pursued his studies in MA Screenwriting at London Film School and graduated in 2024. Ever since his graduation, besides his collaboration as a script editor on various short films, he is working on his first feature with its world set in India and the pre-production is likely to be started in the early 2026. As a writer-director, he always wants to tell the stories from his personal experience to maintain the authenticity of the stories. For him, writing is not just developing an idea featuring with characters and their actions, rather it is more discovering his own true self.
