Biography

Vidal Arzoni made his screen debut at the age of seven, playing Joseph in Elsa Amiel's feature film Pearl, alongside Peter Mullan, Julia Föry, Arieh Worthalter, and Agata Buzek. The film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2018.

He went on to portray Arthur in Julien Rambaldi's social comedy The Nannies (Les Femmes du square), starring Eye Haïdara, Ahmed Sylla, and Léa Drucker. In Gianluca Jodice's historical drama The Flood (Le Déluge), which opened the 2024 Locarno Film Festival, he plays Louis-Charles de France (Louis XVII), the son of Louis XVI (Guillaume Canet) and Marie Antoinette (Mélanie Laurent).

In Robert Eggers' Werwulf, he plays the younger version of the film's lead actor, Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

On television, he has appeared in the French miniseries Reformed (Le Sens des choses) by Keren Ben Rafael, broadcast on HBO Max, and in the Netflix series Winter Palace by Pierre Monnard. He also appears in the miniseries Helvetica by Romain Graf, which won the Best Foreign French-Language Fiction Award at the 2019 La Rochelle Fiction Festival, as well as in La Vie devant by Klaudia Reynicke and Kristina Wagenbauer.

In addition, he has appeared in several short and medium-length films, including the lead role in 7 Times (7 Fois), directed by Christine Wiederkehr, which won the Best International Short Film Award at the Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) in 2024.

Vidal Arzoni received his first acting award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in 2021 for his performance in Stories Keep Me Awake at Night (Nuits sans sommeil), directed by Jérémy van der Haegen.
