Danny Clifford is a British actor and screenwriter renowned for his intensity, authenticity, and physical range-on both stage and screen. With a background as a firefighter with the Greater Manchester Fire Service, Danny brings unmatched realism and discipline to his work. His performance range is vast especially in Shakespearean performance, dramatic roles and action-heavy roles involving high-stakes physicality, tactical movement, and fight choreography. Danny began his acting journey in theatre, training at Manchester's leading drama schools before continuing his classical education at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). There, he studied Shakespeare acting and stagecraft, earning several of RADA's highest accolades, including the coveted Shakespeare Gold award. He completed rigorous training in stage combat, broadsword, unarmed techniques, and screen fighting. He later expanded his expertise with advanced firearms training, stunt coordination, and fight choreography, making him a dynamic asset on high-intensity sets. Danny's theatre career launched with a strong creative footprint. In 2017, he wrote, produced, and starred in From Heaven to Hell, a powerful play directed by Sue Jenkins that toured nationally and earned nominations for Best Drama and Best Adaptation at the GMF Awards.
