Biography

Sylvia Thomas grew up in Southgate Michigan, and went to Southgate Anderson High School. Her junior year of high school she took a class at Oscar Carlson High School through the Downriver Curricular Training Center (DCTC); the class was for video production, which is when her career in film begun. It wasn't until after her senior year she worked with a team called Ironark creating the short film called Seek. She had a knee injury so her first job on a film set was data ranger. She currently is working with as many companies in Michigan as she can to help get a broader network.
