- Rami Al-Kassab, born in Homs, Syria, is a director, creative producer, and screenwriter. He studied Film Directing at the Academy of Arts, High Cinema Institute in Cairo. He began his filmmaking career in 2015 with a series of short films exploring the physical and emotional realities of migration in Germany. His graduation film project LOSS (2024) was selected for the Carthage Film Festival 35th Alongside his independent work, Rami has built strong professional experience in television drama, working as an Assistant Director on major regional productions, including Safar Barlik, El Imam, and El Batal. He is currently developing several new projects, including a feature-length documentary about returning to Syria from exile, a drama series, and a fiction feature film.
