Isik, who graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Gazi University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences , became an artist at the General Directorate of State Theaters in 1972 .

Kenan Isik, who was unconscious since March 21, 2014 and subsequently suffered brain death, died on July 29, 2024.

It was learned that Isik, who entered the sauna after exercising on March 21, 2014, fell ill after the sauna, lost his balance and hit his head on the ground. Isik, who was taken to the hospital unconscious and had a brain hemorrhage, was immediately taken into surgery. It was reported that the surgery lasted 4 hours and the artist's life was in danger.
