Nicole Fernández (Nikkey Fdz) was born on November 19, 1993 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. When she was 9 years old she moved with her mother and stepfather to Switzerland. She holds both Swiss and Dominican citizenships and is of German/Austrian and Dominican heritage.
In age of 18 Nicole began study Digital Film & VFX in Zürich, Switzerland. In 2015 she directed her first short film "Mister Scriptwriter (Señor Guión)". In 2017 she worked on "The Radicalization of Jeff Boyd" as Camera Operator, Audio First Assistant and Makeup Artist. In 2019 Nikkey worked on "The Shelter" as First Director Assistant and is known for her work on "Greencard" (2019) where she did Direction of Photography.
She also graduated from Fashion Photography in Altos de Chavón, Dominican Republic, and graduated in Escuela de Locución del Cibao (ELC) from Professional Radio Speaker.
