  • Sébastien Drouin is the French writer-director of Cold Meat (2023), starring Allen Leech, Nina Bergman and Yan Tual. The movie had is premiere at the Frightfest Festival London and was nominated for 4 Total Film Awards : Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Scare. He's also the co-creator of the tv miniseries VTC ( aka Surge ) for Canal + . He's first known for its multi awarded short movies: Dust City (1997) (winner of Imagina-Monaco 1997), La place du mort (2000) (Winner of the Cognac Film Festival 2000 and 9 others awards), and Pièces détachées (2006) (winner of 9 awards including Best Digital Video award at Rome Arcipelago 2007 and Special Prize of the Jury at Valenciennes 2007).

    Sébastien Drouin started his career as a Visual Effect Supervisor for the French VFX company BUF. He became a renowned Visual Effect Supervisor and worked for international directors such as Wong Kar Wai (2046 (2004)), Oliver Stone (Alexander (2004)), Tom Tykwer (Heaven (2002)), Mathieu Kassovitz (Babylon A.D. (2008)), Abel Ferrara (Pasolini (2014)), Cedric Jimenez, Michel Gondry, Thierry Poiraud, Gelo Babluani and many more. He recently was the overall VFX supervisor on the show Notre Dame : La Part du Feu, a 6 episodes mini-series written and directed by Hervé Hadmar for Netflix.

    In 2017, he directed all episodes of Fearless (2017), a thriller TV Series for Blackpills.

    He's an active member of two collectives : La Squadra ( writers-directors ) and La ligue de l'imaginaire, alongside renowned french writers such as Bernard Werber, Maxime Chattam, Bernard Minier, Franck Thilliez, Henri Loevenbruck...
