Madieu Ulbrich

Madieu Ulbrich is a German Actor of Vietnamese descent. He started attending drama school at the age of 23 after living a year in Australia, where he made his first acting experiences in several student films.
During his second year of school he made his television and stage debut, starring in the ongoing German crime series Die Chefin and Charlotte Sprengers stage adaptation of Clockwork Orange which was awarded with the Heidelberger Theaterpreis (2018). From that point on Madieu frequently worked on various TV & Stage productions until his graduation in 2020 where everything came to a halt due to the global pandemic.
In 2021 he landed a role in the critically acclaimed Dramedy Series OH HELL, written by Johannes Boss (Jerks), which was awarded with the German Television Award for best Comedy (2022) where he’s a part of the main cast. It‘s second season premiered in March 2024. Just a year after, he got cast for the 8 part Sci-Fi Dramedy Series Tender Hearts (SKY) where he plays the male lead - a humanoid Android designed to function as a romantic partner. The show was nominated for Best German Series by the TeleVisionale Baden-Baden.
