Mathewson Lee Wagner Parks was born November 7th, 2000 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Throughout his upbringing, Mathewson's family traveled to Florida, North Carolina, Morocco, and then back to Florida. Mathewson would go on to study filmmaking at Berry College before moving to Los Angeles to work in television.
Mathewson debuted in 2019 with his short film "One Dime Away" which garnered festival attention and accolades and continued to write and direct short films about outsiders.
Mathewson also works as a comedic performer in the sketch comedy series "Funny Pages" alongside Phillip Walker.
