Biography

Langlee Marr is a Jamaican-American actress known for her portrayal of Heather, the chaotic and unpredictable "crazy ex-girlfriend" on the hit YouTube series Topper Guild. With more than 90 million subscribers worldwide (as of May 2026), Topper Guild is one of the largest entertainment channels on YouTube, reaching a global audience through its scripted comedy and challenge-based content.

Marr is set to star in Bad Sleep, a psychological horror thriller written and directed by James Liddell. Equally at home in comedy and drama, her work is often marked by a compelling blend of warmth, unpredictability, and emotional intensity.

Born in Austin, Texas, and raised primarily in Chicago, Illinois, Marr graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in International Economics, Law, and Policy. Before pursuing acting full-time, she interned with the United Nations in Geneva and worked on Wall Street in strategy consulting, experiences that continue to inform her perspective as an artist and storyteller.

Marr currently studies at Nancy Banks Studio and completed a two-year Meisner-based conservatory program under one of Sanford Meisner's final teaching protégé. She is the recipient of multiple acting honors, including Best Actress awards from the Sanford Meisner Film Festival in both 2019 and 2024.

Marr remains dedicated to her human rights work and her philanthropy. She founded and sits on the board of the Jamaican Respect Foundation - a non-profit dedicated to lifting up Jamaica, which is currently helping to rebuild schools and homes after the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in 2025.
