Biography

Benjamin Salit is a director, writer, producer, and actor. He began making films at the age of seven and has continued to pursue his passion ever since.

His first success was a miniseries called Mr. Oloriga, Pat, and Johnny Boy, in which he stars along with his two siblings. After that, Benjamin kept making short films and presented them to his parents and teachers. Other films of his include Evil Etan, Sherlock Friedman, and Mr. Oloriga, Pat, and Johnny Boy: The Sound of Music.

Later, Benjamin directed, produced, and starred in an inventive Space-Western short film called Fritzo. This unique film showcases Benjamin's talents in storytelling and character-building.

While still in high school, Benjamin directed and produced his first feature-length documentary: Living Legends. In this documentary, he interviews three incredible Living Legends: Marilyn Knowlden, Willie Ito, and Marjorie Needham Latzko. Through this film, he hopes to bridge the gap between different generations, as well as share moving stories that may not be very well-known.

Benjamin is currently attending Emory University as a Film & Media Major where he is working on many new and exciting projects.
