Paven's dark girl gang play England's Lane gained industry recognition leading to her being named Screen International ‘Stars Of Tomorrow’, Working Title's residency at Hay Festival. Guiding Lights with mentor Simon Beaufoy. BBC Voices, Film Midlands Stories to Shorts, with magical realism story of two Indian siblings who escape home along the Coventry canals to find refuge. CH4 screenwriting program with Beti her psychological horror graduation script. A National Theatre attachment led to her NT Connections play. After two busy years Paven took a break to have her son. Writer’s rooms: CH4 Birthday Girl, Bafta winning Skins, Ackley Bridge. Shadow Scripts: Ackley Bridge & Eastenders. Her son Ari Virk Nicholl had his first short story published when he was 8 years old and it was Editor's pick. It was called Another Bite.

Paven was selected for Screen International Stars of Tomorrow 2010 as a screenwriter.

Paven was selected for the prestigious CH4 Screenwriting Program where she wrote 'Beti' her psychological horror series pilot.

Never lose control of your creative journey on a project like I did on one of my first plays The Usual Auntijies when the director clashed with the subject and lacked understanding of the South Asian women's refuge setting, instead compared it to Shakespeare with no explanation why and then he simply left me with a half baked version of my play for all to watch and critique.
