- Lee grew up in the small town of Accrington in Lancashire, England. The son of Audrey and Brian Braithwaite, he lived in the same town until he moved to California in 1997.
He is now a Sacramento based creative with a passion for storytelling, film, and family. He has worked as an actor in both short and feature films, including the horror film Sally, directed by Chad O’Bara, which has gained recognition on the horror film festival circuit.
Beyond the screen, Lee is deeply rooted in family life. He’s a proud husband, father and grandfather, often spending time with his granddaughter Nezi on everyday adventures around town. Family plays a central role in his life, from supporting multiple generations to preserving meaningful traditions and memories.
At home, Lee enjoys collecting and displaying retro memorabilia and building Lego creations, which he showcases in a dedicated upstairs room. He also carries fond memories of his beloved English Cream Retriever, Sir Brinkley Flopsy Mopsy Cotton Ball, who was a cherished part of the family.

- Lee grew up in England but has now lived majority of his life in the United States since he moved to California in 1997.
- Lee went on a very strict diet back in September 2023 and has since lost over 90lb, dropping from a size 4XL to XL. He had to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes.
- During the filming of Desert Shadows, Lee had fractured his ankle a few weeks before and had to wear a boot for 6 weeks. He had to get permission from his doctor to film without it and was in pain for most of the shoot.
- Originally the director of Desert Shadows wanted Lee for the role of the local man in the bar however Lee was asked to audition for the role of the old man in error. When he sent in his audition, the director loved it so much, he was given the new role.
- Lee and his wife own a golden retriever, Lady Marmalade and a Mini goldendoodle named lord Finley of the golden Wookies, AKA, Lady and Finley. They also owned 2 other golden retrievers, Sir Brinkley Flopsey Mopsey Cottonball, AKA Brinkey, who passed away from cancer aged 10 in February 2025 and King Henry the 9th of the golden glitter who passed away unexpectedly from a seizure at only 18 months old in July 2025.
