Cadenza Zhao is an award-winning writer-director of Chinese-Malaysian heritage, born and raised in the French part of Switzerland, based in Berlin. She makes both fictional and documentary films. Her works have screened globally, including at Hot Docs, Max Ophüls Preis and on ZDF. She is a graduate of the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Germany.
