Roy McCombs

Roy McCombs was born on August 4th, 1963 in the small, rural town of Moundsville, WV. He attended both West Virginia University and The Ohio State University where he pursued a B.F.A. in Acting. In the 1990's McCombs moved to New York City where he co-founded Studio a la Koo Koo a non-profit, Off-Off Broadway theatre company and served as its Managing Director. During his time with Studio a La Koo Koo he wrote, directed and produced original one-acts and monologues while also acting in other playwrights' works. In 2006 McCombs relocated to Los Angeles, CA where he continues to write and direct for the theatre as well as writing for television and film.
