Biography

Anna Vasilyeva is a Russian actress, model, stunt performer. From early childhood she was engaged in acrobatics and other sports, motocross, rock climbing, horse riding and trick riding, parachuting. From the age of four she studied at the Clowning Theatre. At the age of eleven, she began acting in commercials. In particular, her first shoot was an advertisement for clothes from the Gloria Jeans brand. At 16, she began working as a stunt, performing many of her own stunts. She has shooting skills from different types of firearms. Studied at the Faculty of Medical and Clinical Psychology. In 2016, she graduated from the German Sidakov Drama School.

The actress's first significant role, after which she had her own fans among viewers, was in the series Geymery (2012). In 2016, the multi-part drama Zabud i vspomni (2016) was released, in which Anna perfectly played the leading role. She played the lead role in the 2017 detective film Zhdite neozhidannogo/Await the Unexpected (2017) based on the novel of the same name by Tatiana Ustinova. In 2018, was released Kotov obizhat ne rekomenduetsya (2018), in which Anna played the main character.

She is the younger sister of Russian actress Yuliya Vasileva. There are 3 years and 6 months between them. Both were born and grew up in Moscow.

In 2021, she was among 20 candidates selected by the Roscosmos commission for the lead role in the film The Challenge (2023), which was filmed in space.
