Matt Newton is an acclaimed on-camera acting coach, director, and former actor based in New York City, whose clients have booked leading and recurring roles across film, television, and Broadway.
As an on-set acting coach, his credits include When They See Us, Blue Bloods, The Affair, Jessica Jones, and Orange Is the New Black.
Newton began his career as an actor in Los Angeles, appearing on shows such as Criminal Minds, Gilmore Girls, and Judging Amy, as well as in films including Van Wilder. After relocating to New York, he appeared on Royal Pains, Ugly Betty, and The Americans, among others.
In 2010, he transitioned into directing and coaching, directing projects including Hide/Seek, Vacation Rental (winner of Best Director), Sins of the Son, and the indie pilot Dissocia.
