Toby Chu

Toby Chu is a Chinese American film composer with dual citizenship in the United States and Croatia. He recently scored the Netflix animated feature The Monkey King and two popular animated series: Netflix's Centaurworld and Apple TV's Emmy and Peabody award-winning Stillwater. In addition, Toby composed the video game score for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, S4, and Netflix's documentary film Found, where he co-wrote an original song performed by Grammy award-winning singer and actress Phillipa Soo.

Toby garnered acclaim for his score to Pixar's Oscar-winning animated short Bao. His considerable works include Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return, Surf's Up 2: WaveMania for Sony Pictures Animation, and New Line Cinema's period thriller The Wolves at the Door. He also scored the Netflix action film Fistful of Vengeance and CBS's True Lies. Toby collaborated with Daft Punk, arranging and orchestrating "Adagio for Tron" on the Tron: Legacy soundtrack.

Other notable credits include USA Network's Covert Affairs and Burn Notice, NBC's The Brave, and FX's cult classic The Riches. He made musical contributions to Man on Fire, Déjà Vu, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Domino, and Team America: World Police.
