Biography

Keni Thomas was born in Georgia, USA. He is known for We Were Soldiers (2002), Black Hawk Down (2001) and Sweet Home Alabama (2002).

Nickname is Cornbread because he was about the only one who loved the cornbread from MREs when he was serving in the military. The guys he served with started calling him that and giving him their cornbread.

Lead singer of music group, Cornbread, based in Columbus, Georgia.

Served with 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment from 1991 to 1997, and fought in the Battle of the Black Sea in Mogadishu, Somalia. Received the Bronze Star for Valor.

Released his album 'Flags of Our Fathers' in 2005; two singles were released: 'Not Me' and 'Gloryland'
