Biography

Ken Akamatsu was born on July 5, 1968 in Kanagawa, Japan. He is a writer and director, known for Negima!! (2007), UQ HOLDER! (2017) and Gekijouban Mahou sensei Negima! Anime Final (2011).

Has a loyal team of art assistants who have aided him on every manga since 'Love Hina' who help him with background art, computer graphics, and character clean-up. Unlike many manga-ka, he always insists on them being credited, even in the foreign translations of his works.
