Ketki Dave, a distinguished Indian film and television actress, has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry with her exceptional talent and versatile roles. Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to renowned parents in the field of theater and acting-Pravin Joshi, a theater director, and Sarita Joshi, an accomplished actress-Ketki was destined for the world of performing arts. Her sibling, Purbi Joshi, also shares the family's creative legacy.

Commencing her acting journey with the film "Kissi Se Na Kehna" in 1983, Ketki quickly established herself as a notable presence in the industry. In 1990, she portrayed the character Ketki Dave in the movie "Dil," marking a pivotal moment in her burgeoning career. The late 1990s saw her in significant roles in films like "Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet" and "Mann."

The turning point in Ketki's career arrived in 2000 when she took on the role of Daksha Virani in Ekta Kapoor's iconic television show "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi," a character that she portrayed for eight years. Her association with the show showcased her acting prowess and endeared her to audiences across the nation. Simultaneously, she showcased her versatility in reality shows such as Nach Baliye Season 2, Comedy Circus 1, and Bigg Boss 2.

Not just confined to the small screen, Ketki Dave's cinematic journey includes memorable performances in Bollywood films like "Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa," "Kal Ho Naa Ho," "Parwana," and "Kitne Door Kitne Paas." Her ability to effortlessly portray characters with a Gujarati accent added a unique charm to her roles.

Throughout her three-decade-long career, Ketki has graced more than 50 films and 25 television shows, earning accolades for her contributions to Indian entertainment. In her personal life, she found companionship with Rasik Dave, and the couple is blessed with two children-a daughter named Riddhi Dave and a son named Abhishek Dave.
