Billy Gardell was born on August 20, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Bad Santa (2003), Dragon Wars: D-War (2007) and Avenging Angelo (2002). He has been married to Patty Gardell since September 30, 2001. They have one child.

When he was working in a warehouse, his coworkers bet him he wouldn't do an open mic night. His paycheck wasn't enough to cover the bet, so he did his first 5 minute stand-up act at age 17.

Has a son, Will.
