Ron Evans was born on November 10, 1933 in St. Francis, Kansas, USA. He died on April 7, 1990 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

Astronaut. Command Module Pilot on Apollo 17 (December 1972). Orbited the Moon.

Flew on Apollo 17 with Harrison Schmitt and Eugene Cernan who stayed on the moon for three days becoming the last Americans to walk the moon to date. Their lunar module was Challenger while Ron Evans circled the moon in America.
