Biography

Lisa is a British actress and is returning to acting after a career break due to family circumstances.

Lisa trained in Acting full time for 3 years at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama London where she was awarded the Gold Medal and was taught by some of the most recognized voice and acting coaches in the country.

After graduating she spent 3 full seasons in repertory theatre, playing leading roles including Desdemona in Othello, Maggie in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Rita in Educating Rita, Irina in Three Sisters.

She then joined the cast of British Soap Opera Coronation Street playing Rachel Forbes from 1997- 98 and then returned to the soap in 2024 playing Demi Mansfield. Both characters dated show regular Steve MacDonald.

Throughout her career she has performed in theater's across the UK including the London Hippodrome and Bristol Old Vic and featured in many TV shows, sitcoms and dramas including Casualty, Holby, Cold Lazarus, Hollyoaks, Vanishing Man and Venus & Mars.

As a voice actor she has voiced video games, TV & Radio Ads, corporate films, promos, explainers, e-learning, documentaries and more, and has 16 years experience in continuity voicing, writing and in-vision continuity for major network channels including the Discovery Channel, Home and Health.

She has also been nominated for Commercials, E-learning and twice for Female Voice Over Artist of the Year at the One Voice Awards London UK.

Lisa spent years performing professionally as a professional Jazz singer, she is a mum and has a Cockerpoo called Harry.
