When he was seven years old Alex decided he wanted to make movies using computers ... now he does.
In 1997 Alex joined FrameStore as their first 3D Programmer. He rose to be the Head of 3D Research and Development and worked on numerous projects including Walking with Dinosaurs, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He won an Emmy for his work on Hallmark's Alice in Wonderland. In 2004 Alex joined DreamWorks Animation. He was FX, Character FX and Crowds Supervisor on Kung Fu Panda, and VFX Supervisor on Kung Fu Panda 2. At the start 2015 he joined the brand-new Animation Division of Cinesite and has been instrumental in building it into a world class facility. Recently he has focused on the company's IP projects as VFX Supervisor on Riverdance and HITPIG!, and as Associate Director on Animal Farm.
