- Gabriela graduated in Communication Sciences from ITESO. She is a producer of commercials, documentaries, and music videos.
She was the production coordinator (Mexico) for the documentary Gored, nominated at various festivals such as Raindance and Tribeca, and a winner at the Hot Springs Festival in 2015.
She produced the music video for Porter titled Huitzil, which was nominated for several awards, including the Latin Grammy (2015) and the MTV Video Music Awards, among others.
Gabriela has won the national Pantalla de Cristal award for Best Production Values in two consecutive years for two music videos.
Her work has been showcased at various national and international festivals, including the documentary Over the Wheel for the international network Al Jazeera.
She is the producer of the documentary feature film La era de la desconexión (2018), which was an official selection at the Guadalajara International Film Festival, Amsterdam Film Festival, Morocco Adventure Film Festival, and Anima Film Fest in Argentina.
She was the producer of the film Nada que ver (2022) by director Kenya Márquez.
She runs her production company, Elena Cinema, where she provides production services for films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos.
Gabriela has experience in over 200 commercials for brands such as Nike, Toyota, Adidas, Nissan, Honda, José Cuervo, Patrón, Daewoo, Vidanta, among others, and has worked with artists like Alejandro Fernández, Porter, Siddhartha, Paty Cantú, and others.
