  • Russian actor Aleksei Panin is a rising star of the Russian cinema of the 2000s. One of the youngest actors to receive the Russian state Award for the film The Star (2002). He played the breakthrough roles in Roman Kachanov's black comedy DMB (2000) and Daun Haus (2001).

    In 2005, he played the main role in Aleksey Balabanov's film Blind Man's Bluff (2005), who played a bandit who later became a deputy of Moscow. This film is also a black comedy, which later gained cult status in Russia. This role became the most famous in Panin's career.
