Michal Englert was born on May 4, 1975 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland. He is a cinematographer and writer, known for Never Gonna Snow Again (2020), Woman of... (2023) and In the Name Of (2013).

Son of actress Marta Lipinska and theatre director Maciej Englert. Nephew of actor Jan Englert.

His partner for several years has been actress Maja Ostaszewska. They have two children together: son Franciszek (born in 2007) and daughter Janina (born in 2009).
